The Blaze Bayley Band is a heavy metal band formed in 2007 by former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley. The band has released five studio albums, two live albums, and one compilation album. Their music is characterized by Bayley's powerful vocals, heavy riffs, and melodic choruses.

Bayley was born in Birmingham, England, on May 29, 1962. He began singing in local bands in the early 1980s, and in 1989 he joined Wolfsbane, a heavy metal band from Tamworth, Staffordshire. Wolfsbane released three studio albums before disbanding in 1994.

In 1994, Bayley was approached by Iron Maiden to replace Bruce Dickinson, who had left the band to pursue a solo career. Bayley accepted the offer and recorded two studio albums with Iron Maiden, The X Factor (1995) and Virtual XI (1998). However, Bayley was not as well-received by Iron Maiden fans as Dickinson, and he was eventually fired from the band in 1999.

After leaving Iron Maiden, Bayley formed his own band, The Blaze Bayley Band. The band's debut album, Silicon Messiah, was released in 2000. The album was well-received by critics, and it helped to establish Bayley as a solo artist. The Blaze Bayley Band has released five more studio albums since then, as well as two live albums and one compilation album.
